Drool alert....

Post by Aussie Chris »

I know this was posted a while back, I saved it in my favourites and came back to it now.
It has the prices these masterpieces sold for, most well above the estimated prices.

These were made by men? Amazing craftmenship. If only Winchester was still around......

Enjoy:

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Perry you beat me to it. Unissued - that one got my attention! ...as did the 92 carbines and 14" and 16" trappers. Another posting that proves (in case you needed any) that there's never such a thing as having too much money!

Okay, I dont need to say they are fine guns. The prices are insane X 10 and more!!! I really need the address`s of some of those buyers! I might live nicely the rest of my retirement. Who are these people that can lay out a 1/4 of a million on one gun? I never knew even just one! I have aquired a number of fine old classic guns that I thought were worth quite a bit. However I am sure these people would pay or price them at least 10X what I ever would have priced them in my wildest dreams! I need to get out more!

That was my first thought, but realized it's what the buyer is willing to pay and the players at that game won't even allow me to park their cars.

I guess the 1894s in that case are consecutive serial numbers. If so, that price is OK with me. Soon as I get rich, I'm after 'em!

There were only a couple pairs of sequentials in the box as I recall.
