There`s a reason the Bible speaks of music so much, it opens the mind to a beautiful thing and lets you forget about the things that bother ya.

Someone posted that a few months ago and it inspired me to purchase a harmonica of my own. Now I have two, in different keys. They really help pass the time when I'm driving. Easier than playing the banjo cause I don't have to roll the window down. I'll bet I watched that clip 100 times between the computer and my Android and it still makes me smile every time I watch it.

Thank you. :D

Try sitting on a rock overlooking a mountain lake at dawn and play simple tones on an alto or bass flute some time (Japanese Bamboo is lightest).

No melody required - G_d will provide all the accompaniment your soul can stand.

I remember my Grandpa playing his for us kids and when I was real young there was an ol man named Johnny Hess. He would hitch up his mule and ride to town on his wagon. He'd spend a good bit of time in the local watering hole and then come outside and play his harmonica for us kids. I really don't know if he was any good or not but in my memories he was the best harmonica player I ever heard. I always wanted to learn to play like him and now I'm 53 and still haven't learned. Mighty good memories though.

I love the harmonica...I have 6 or 7, but I have recently become a fan of the pan flute, very relaxing and soulful tune..................
