Colt SAA & Win 92--38-40--

Post by pwl44m »

Finally got a chance to shoot My Colt and Win. They are both 38-40 and what a pleasant event. The ammo I had was reloads that came with the 92. While they had a little power they did seem kinda Wimpy. I have no idea what the load is.
The Colt shoots a little left and the elevation is probably Me. I was shooting off hand after a half days work. Cutting firewood so kinda tired (any excuse). I am happy with the Gun and I know it can do better. I just wanted to shoot it after having it so long. The Grips worked perfect so don't laugh at them. They fit My hand well.
The 92 I think will be a shooter. I was shooting at a barrel and kept hitting very near the same whole every time. I didn't have any targets with Me , I just wanted to shoot them. Using a metal T-post as a rest so accuracy was compromised.. I burned up 50 rounds between both guns.
A very fun day and still got My work done.

That rifle sure has a pretty forend. Ok, I won't laugh at the grips... :P They fit? That's the important part.

Man, I MISS my old dozer... :(

The tractor is cool, but Mr. Dozer always won when it came to push and shove...

Thats a nice combination in the "bestest" of calibers.

The dozer is very cool. I sure could put that baby to work.

Now! Reload that ammo! Your buddies are waiting for some "food". :D -------------------------Sixgun
