Moose

Post by Marlin32 »

Headed off early in the am for the Great White North on a Quest to take the elusive Shiras Moose of the Canadian Rockies in Alberta.

Taking my good Ka-bar knife, the "Moose Hammer" and a change of clothes (or two)

Will be trying to dump a Mule deer in this process as well, and any Wolf that appears to be up to no good.

Be back Nov 9th.

We shall see how the Marlin 338ME and the Remington 250grainers do on moose.

When I still had a couple 338 ME's they gave me no reason to believe they woulkd be anything less then adequate for moose in 250 yard or less range . Heck I think I'da felt confident using the regular old Horandy 200 grain rubber tipped bullet .

And by the way GOOD LUCK !

Welcome to our wonderful province. Moose numbers are good right now, good shooting! Our Muley numbers have shrunk a bit, whitetails have really invaded thier territory. We have an outstanding whitetail population. Your welcome to all the wolves you want!!!!
