Found this gem today

Post by olyinaz »

Stumbled across this baby. Adjustable sights! Been wanting one for some time but they're usually way too expensive (in other words I wanted one, but not badly enough to pay list price). Sticker on this one said $139 and what's not to like about that?

So, hows it shoot? You gonna post a range report with lots of smoky pics soon?

Congrats! I have one just like it :) The sights are adjustable but you do want to adjust to your load of choice and leave them there - as they aren't really repeatable. Still, it's really nice to find an accurate load at your desired "power level" and then sight the gun to the load.

You can also get a Kirst conversion cylinder for these and shoot mild 45 Colt loads out of it with no mods to the gun.

Ya done stole it! I traded off my Remmie to a friend for a pair of Slim Jim holsters for my 1851 Colts! And they were $150 @ retail!

Daggum cold has me beat (I hate summer colds...) but as soon as I'm well I'll get out and give up a range report.

Best,
Oly
