I have no words to express the sorrow I feel for the Curro family on the loss of Sixgun's daughter-in-law Cynthia. I hope that you'll join me in lifting them up with prayer...

In the arms of Jesus

After a journey fought with passion and grace, Cynthia has arrived in the loving arms of Jesus. She passed,as she lived, surrounded by her family and friends on Thursday morning.

Cynthia wanted for all of her family and friends to gather to celebrate her life and the influence that she had on every person that she met. Information for the celebration is below:

I know how awful this has been for both families, and no doubt for many others who knew her who we'll never know. Perhaps the only blessing is that the Earthly suffering will now peak and eventually fade, and no doubt she's in a better place now.

My heartfelt condolences to Jack Jr. (Sixgun Jr.), his family, and Jack (Sixgun), Cynthia's father in law and his family. Thank you for sharing her memorial service with us. I was moved and my faith was strengthened. I believe that is the way she touched people in her life, as well, and her spirit lives on. Howdy Guys,
This really means a lot from you boys at Leverguns. Thank you. I'm here in Colorado now. The services have concluded on Monday. Even though you know when the end is near is that when it happens, finality still hits you like a ton on C-4.

We "in a way" expect our parents to go before us, but in my 57 years, the finality of Cynthia's life has hit the family hard in a way I have never experienced. In a short way of words, it just was not fair. But life is not always fair and the Good Lord has plans.

My son and I are trying to keep life as normal as possible for his two children, Sierra (11) & Saige (8) by laughing, doing things as a family and talking about the future in a positive way. Seeing this for the first time through childrens eyes, I find children are amazingly adaptable---a gift from our Creator.

Tough times are ahead for my son, for as a family we are seperated by a few thousand miles. Priorities are priorities and we will see it through as modern technology has somewhat made the world smaller.

My son and I have been raised as Roman Catholics. The family's church here in Colorado (http://www.therock.org) is a Christian church but in a "modernized version". They have been very helpful and put on a beautiful service, complete with a band.

In a few days after I get home I'll make a post honoring the "Greatest Mom on Earth".

II Corinthians 5:8, to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. We all look forward to the day we will see our loved ones again.

Howdy Guys,
I'm back home at the homestead here in Pennsylvania. Its been a long year and a half for my son. The pain is over for Cynthia but as we all know, life goes on. My heart goes out to the children as they are the ones most affected.
