cylinder pin removal on taylor smokewagon

waited three months for my taylor smokewagon in .357. nice gun, shoots great, hits where i aim, and a tight lockup on the cylinder. I have been having trouble pulling cylinder pin out to clean gun. Once i get it out it moves in out of the loose cylinder freely, same with the frame when cylinder is out. i use hoppe's to clean the gun and finish with militec-1 synthetic lubricant to protect and lube gun afterwards. does anybody else have this problem? doesn't seem to be any binding when cylinder is spun by hand or during firing. Maybe just to need to be broke in? fyi, the gun is really a uberti made to taylor's specifications. hate to get rid of it , a very nice gun otherwise. thanks

Powder fouling binds base pins. Got the same problem with my OM Ruger BH .357. Before you pull the pin hose down the front and between the cylinder and frame with solvent and let it set and soak for a bit.
~OR~ Make a padded set of pliers and just pull it out.

I have the Brownell's base pin puller and use it often. It's just great!

Is the base pin latch releasing? Try taking it completely out and see if the base pin goes in and out OK then. Actually I set my base pin latches up where they must be removed in order to pull the base pin so that one doesn't move forward during a match.
