Thank you all!

Here's what's going on.......
I'm actually messing with a centerfire right now. I found a Model 1893 Deluxe, 38-55, that dates to 1895. The checkering was almost worn & gone, so I am having it recut. http://www.checkering.com I hope this one doesn't have headspace issues. My other 38-55 is getting a "grommet" soldered in, to take up the space. It was too expensive to turn the barrel 1 turn, cut the mag tube down, and refit the forearm. He also didn't want to build up material, on the locking lug. Thankfully this is a 38-55. John said he couldn't do it if it was a bottleneck cartridge. Max HS is .004 and it miked out to .027. http://www.johntaylormachine.com I also have a Stevens Walnut Hill (22lr) coming my way, in a couple of weeks, that Paul Shuttleworth is putting together. I just have to finish off the wood. Thankfully I didn't sell off all my sights. http://www.cparifles.com
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.
