So, my handle is pharmseller because I'm a pharmaceutical sales rep. Same handle for eBay, too. How 'bout y'all?

I kind of figued that one out. It was either Pharmaceutical Sales or you were the one who sold the old homestead to the developers... :D

So, take a stab at mine. I'll give you a hint. It has nothing to do with military rank nor women's lingerie... 8)

That's one I'd never heard before.

Nope. It's simply a reference to my widely varied life.

American born.
Brazilian bred.
Colombian resident.

Or perhaps the nature of our family since my sons are tri-nationals. 8)

Nick name Mom gave me, at least the Jiro part but friends call me Ji (GEE), the Gan part was added by me as tradition dictates a young man to take on a new name when reaching manhood, Jiro being traditional name for second son, and Gan has many meanings the foremost implying preseverance. I'm hanging in there! Gan can also mean cancer, and my mom soon after giving birth to child number 4 started feeling ill, and felt a hard lump growing in her belly she thought for sure she had gan or a tumor. She went to the docs for a exam and got the worse news, she was pregnant again (with me! i'm 11 month junior to my sis). Been causing her a belly ache ever since. I like the double meaning

My oldest son has referred to my as "old time" since he was in elementary school, my wife says all I care 'bout is hunting. My buds think I am old fashion in how I hunt and what I use, levers or single shots only, used to never allow scopes (I have a couple, and even used one this past year, first time in twenty years and probably the last for twenty more). Would rather walk in, than ride in on an ATV, course a horse works too. I also like to hunt in that the game is suprised, instead of the other way around. Therefore, I somehow picked up the moniker...Old Time Hunter.

I've been called Doc Hudson since I was a kid, and it kinda spread when I was in my 20's, and really started spreading when the Internet came along.

I use it on all the various boards I visit, and in ancient times, even had a regular feature page at the old WWW.EARP.COM, Doc Hudson's Hideout.

Now about as many folks know me as Doc as any other name.

Once again, my Army buddies started calling me Hobie due to an unfortunate incident with a certain 16 foot sailing craft and a certain officer. I use either "Hobie" or "TheRealHobie" everywhere on the net.

I was kinda given mine tho I'm sure the guy didn't know what he did.

Was at the range probly 6 or 7 years ago with a couple lever actions. Probly Marlins but I mighta had my Win trapper then. Anyway I know the people who run it well & they know me. A fellow down the line got his 336 jammed up & the RO sent him to me to see if I could unstuck it. He came over & looked at my guns & says "You must be the leverdude, take a look at this".
I was just starting to lurk on Marlin talk at the time & when I registered & needed a name I used it. Its my name on all but one forum I ever signed up for.

We ranch, at the current time, 225 acres. Just enough to almost call myself a cowboy (even if nobody else does).

I've heard that down Colorado way, a man might run 30,000 head of sheep and a hundred head of beef, but he would call himself a Cattleman.

I reckon 225 acres and 20 cows entitles you to be called a cowboy.

I was given my name when I was in the Air Force. Fresh out of boot stationed at Shepard AFB Jan 82' (Read ice fishing in Hades). I have always had a stocky build and wearing a field jacket with a liner did nothing to complement my figure. One day while we were all standing around out side of the building I committed the military cardinal sin of putting my hands in my pockets. One of my "Buddies" made the comment " Hey look, he looks like a Dufflebag.

While I am not particularly Old, I do only use Iron Sights.

The Old bit is just because I'm relatively "punny"... and it fits with my generally Revolutionary (pre-mercantilisim/anti-federalist) attitude... and ties in to an Avatar well.

Starring Jock Mahoney

and Dick Jones as Dick West

This early Western featured the exploits of the honest, principled and tough Range Rider and his boyish sidekick, Dick West. Dressed in a fringed buckskin shirt and a white stetson, The Range Rider wore no boots, only moccasins. His horse was called Rawhide. Dick, sporting a dark, military-style shirt and a black hat, rode a steed called Lucky. The theme song was called 'Home on the Range'

I do wear boots though. The 7 is for my boyhood hero Mickey Mantle.

I have been doing refrigeration for 25 years or so and used to be my CB handle when they were in. It has been a good trade and taken me pretty well all over Canada and a good part of the USA. My son is now doing his apprenticeship and seems to like it so far.

kimwcook - is my name. I got so tired of writing down different user names and passwords for different forums that I just had enough and went with my name. Didn't want to use my full name but just using kim cook on some of the first forums was already taken. So I went with my full name and there we are. Not much of a story.

It is alleged (by my wife) that I may be in possession of too many rimfires (Diamondback 22s, various 22 mags, 5mm Rem, etc). This is, of course, not possible. It's like saying I have too many Winchester 71's ... which most of you will immediately recognize is also not possible.
