Prayer Request for Mom= Updated

Post by Doc Hudson »

Gentlemen Brothers,

My Mom is having surgery to repair a tear in the meniscus (lining of knee) this afternoon.

The surgery is relatively minor and will be performed 'Out Patient," but anytime someone past 70 goes under anesthesia there is the possibility of problems.

I'd greatly appreciate it if y'all would keep Mom in your prayers today, and both of us in your prayers for the next few weeks that we don't get on each others nerves too badly during convalescence.

UPDATED INFO
Doc

Thanks for aLl the prayers and good wishes. i will pass them on to Mom.

Now for news, it ain't bad, buyt it ain't good. Mom's surgery got postponed at least one week. She has some infection in the leg and the doctor thought it inadvisable to do surgery until the inflammation clears up.

Surgery is tentatively re-sceduled for next Thursday. So looks like she had another week of knee pain to endure.

Thanks again for the prayers.

Doc

You've got it. It's been awhile, but went through exactly the same with my mom about at the same age. The best to her--and you.
