P2170377.JPG
oh, well i'll think of something,
P2170362.JPG
.45 vaqueros [not new models, but can't call 'em old models].
boy that's a mouthful. i like the larger frames so when i saw this
pair for 400 each, i figured, i had paid more and got less before.

so this is on topic, i'll soon be looking for a '92 in .45 colt, anybody
have a nice one they're thinking of parting with?

That is one very nice set of handguns.
I love the barrel length on those, and talk about fine rugged guns.
Nice Stuff.

neat find!!

Now you need a handcarved custom made two-gun carry rig.

You gonna make it yourself or find a local craftsman?

Yeah, you may need to check out the thread on lead vendors, too.

I don't call myself shooting that much, and I went through 60 or 70 pounds of lead last year.

Congratulations on the twins.

Did you hand sew the holster and belt, looks like the stitching is too low a count for machine. Looks good.

hand stitched.
that is VERY thick leather, 1/4" give or take.
so when i put a welt in, the sewing was heavy going.
if i put those stitches as close as usual they would have ended up too close,
maybe one long slot instead of holes. so i went every other hole.
looks a little funky, next time lighter leather. it was an experiment,
win some lose some. i still use it, and it works well. really rigid, holds
it's shape well.
