What Model letter 99 and what vintage? The earlier the better.

Depending on the exact model and condition, $495 could be a steal.

I know very little of the 99, but all the others there were $650+

I dont know savages well, but clarance who owns Beaver Sport and Pawn at Beaver Utah always seems to have 4 to 6 various old lever savages every time I go there. He claims to have the biggest gun shop in utah.

Around here such a rifle is $850 and our shop has one that was asking $850+ in the same condition. That might be ridiculous elsewhere.

I might be a bit odd, but I want one of the 1972 era tang safety .250-3000s. I have a .308. Like I need another deer rifle.
Sincerely,

Hobie
