It was the best thing for the cat, (metastatic lymphoma overtaking the intestines & invading other organs) but still won't be easy for her...

Her head's on pretty straight and "appropriate sadness" is less an issue than the cumulative effect of Cat Death + Possibly Immenent Move + Possibly living alone for 2 months+ + +...

when the doc told me renal failure, I said " is he in pain "?

Nancy has found an herbal product called Stress Response by Gaia Harbals. Two capsules after a meal. It has helped her manage her current high level of stress without side effect. I've taken them a couple of times when my hat's a little too tight and didn't notice any effect other than my mouth was more easily kept in check.

Things are going pretty well. She's a trooper. Might be harder for her today at work when her coworkers start laying on the sympathy, but I think it will be OK.
