What to do with .44 projectiles?

I have owned four 44Magnums through the years but have not had one for probably three years. (2 Marlin 1894s and 2 Ruger handguns.) I have about 1500 jacketed bullets and 400-500 cast bullets on hand along with at least 500 pieces of brass. I now have a Marlin 1894 and a Ruger Blackhawk in 41 magnum and do not see the need for getting another 44. So... should I sell off the bullets for the 44 to buy other bullets or should I hold on to them in case another 44 comes my way? Tell me your thoughts please.

On the other hand there are those who are really into .44,both special and magnum,like myself whose immediate selfish thought is how much do you want for them and oh gosh could I afford it.
It all depends on whether or not you ever expect to have another .44.

1) make a decision if you want to keep them or not
2) if you don't want to keep them then check out current prices for them and decide what price you want for them
3) take some pictures and post them here in the classifieds with your prices - you might check the shipping and include that in your price "shipped".

You should sell the .41 and all of the .44 stuff and buy a .45. Done and done.

What would it hurt to box them up and stow them away? 2,00 bullets and 500 cases couldn't take up too much room. Keep 'em. .44 is a great caliber, and one might come back your way.

Or if you want, send them to me, and I'll use them so they don't tarnish up on you. You know how lead gets that fuzzy coating - I can prevent that by pushing them down one of my rifle barrels at high speed. I'll save (most of them, er - mayb a few of them) for you...

I'd say keep the .44 stuff, unless you can find someone who has .41 stuff to trade for your .44 stuff. Somebody might want to trade, right?

As others said, if you NEVER think you'll own another .44 AND you are tight on space AND/OR you need the funds to purchase .41 supplies, I'd sell them here.

If space is not a problem (these wouldn't take too much, but even a little bit breaks the camel's back if you have a ton of stuff you do need), and you don't really need the funds right now, I'd hold onto them. "Never" owning another .44 seems like some sort of punishment sentence to me! You never know, and worse case, you can use them for trading fodder if you see something you do want.

KEEP THEM!!! Look at the trouble people are having getting reloading supplies these days. It'd be kinda ironic if ya got rid of em and then bought another .44 and then couldn't get bullets or cases for it. Keep em.
