Rossi-USA Model 92's

Has any one had any experience with the "new" Rossi's M92s? Am the owner of a Puma and the EMF Rossi's but am ordering a 20" short rifle .377/38 from Rossi-USA and am looking for input. I know I'll have to replace that darn bolt safety. Maybe NKJ has some direct knowledge of the new line. An aquaintance said that only the 16" carbine had the saddle ring. (I hate those rings for hunting.}
