Cast 30wcf performance

I was wondering if anyone hunts with hard cast 30-30 bullets and how they perform on both large and small game compared to soft and hollow points. Do they penetrate straight through or is there tumbling and yawing? Is the small meplate sufficiant for rapid blood loss/tissue displacment or are they best used as a target load? Thanks

KirkD had a recent hunt with cast n's, check his posts. Nowt wrong with castn's in the zone :wink:
