Re: Eventually I would like to get ---
Sorry, ole boy, them's stay with me.
Just pushing you a little in the right direction. Actually, Colt SAA's are at some of the best prices right now. I paid a lot more when I bought mine years ago then what you can pick'em up for now. I think one in nickle would be nice. Or maybe with a 7.5" bbl. or.........

Eventually?
I'd like to replace my 1886 TD with a Stainless Marlin TD.
Would also not mind a stout 5" Stainless SAA (clone) in .357

I dunno, Fred.
I once got my mitts on one, but found them pretty spendy, compared to a Ruger Vaquero - so I boughten myself a .45 Colt New Vaquero last September, which is the same SAA frame size, unlike the bigger framed full-size Vaquero.

Re: Eventually I would like to get ---
I love the .44 special and I love the Colt's SAA.....together, they make the perfect handgun.
I've got a wonderful wife that convinced me to buy a "set" of 5 1/2" .44 specials a number of years ago. I shoot the SASS matches and her theory at the time was "what are you gonna' do with just one gun when the game calls for two....". I couldn't argue much with that reasoning. Anyhow, it's been about the best thing I could have done. I shoot them both regularly and have had absolutely no trouble with them after many thousands of rounds. Going to them from Ruger Vaqueros was a welcome change. These Colt's point so naturally it's like an extension of my arm. I found a Winchester '73 repro in .44 special as well. Perfection!
Finding a Colt in .44 special can be a challenge. USFA makes a very good rendition of Sam Colt's SAA. If I was looking for one today, I'd look hard at those. One can be ordered in any number of calibers and configurations.

That is my Holy Grail of guns. All my life, even before I was legal I've wanted a Colt SAA, 4 ¾", .45 Colt, blue and CCH. Preferably with real ivory grips. I've never had the funds to get one. I've had my Rugers, my Ubertis, but never a Colt. I keep saying; "someday". But I fear that my opportunities to get one are gone. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: Eventually I would like to get ---
Winchester 1895 in .30-40 Krag, somewhere in the 1900-1920 vintage timeframe to duplicate the one that my grandpa seriously fed his family with homesteading 100 miles north of Edmonton Alberta from 1927 to 1935 when they finally came back to the US.
1893 Marlin, 26" octagon in .30-30 Vintage pre serial number 355,000
1894 Winchester, rifle version in .30WCF, pre WW1
1873 Winchester, rifle version in .38-40
Geez the list is longer than my bank account!

Re: Eventually I would like to get ---
yep, a real Colt 4 3/4 with real one piece Ivory grips, is a gun that I never got, and would appreciate.
I would also like to have a nice 73 Winchester or Replica, but so far I have put that off also.
Unfortunatly, there is always another gun, it's a thurst that can't be quenced for very long.

Re: Eventually I would like to get ---
Too many to list,
For now i'll list the Beretta .45 LC single action with 3.5 bbl and birds head grips (i like the case colors better than the Italian guns and i like the wide smooth trigger better than the traditional SAA type trigger)
Followed closely by one of Roy Weatherby's rifles in 300 Wby mag
But i could go on and on with an "eventually" wish list
