I really enjoyed his work. As an actor he really did have a lot of charisma. I'm sad, but I feel like applauding too for a life well done.

The older that I get, the more I appreciate Mr. Montalban.
I am a BIG fan of the old Second City Television series. Eugene Levy used to do a killer impression of Ricardo, complete with a white Mr. Roarke suit. I have been looking for the SCTV parrodies of Ricardo ("...sweet and crunchy! ...JESS!"). All that I can find is this wonderful example of the original, which is better than I recall it being:
