Post by cutter »

Tennesse SB0401, will be up for vote in January '08. Please contact your district senator, tell him to vote yes.

You can find your district senator here; http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/sitemap.htm

SB0401 if passed will allow a hunter to carry his sidearm during archery only hunting season.
Gentlmen, thank you for your time.

Indiana went CCW=CCW regardless of "season" last year.

We can carry our Personal Protection Sidearm Year Round, even on State Property, regardless of other Hunting Regs.

Just be danged sure you don't use your .40S&W to "finish" your archery deer...

I wish I could vote there.

In GA, we're allowed to carry any sidearm we want so long as we don't use it on a deer during deer archery season, not even to "finish" one off.

And I carry mine with me.

Here in Wy. archers can't carry a sidearm , or be in possession of a firearm while archery hunting.
They were finding to many arrows shoved into bullet holes. :?

I have found one meth lab, one still, one patch of wacky backy, one stolen boat, two stolen cars, one huge pile of stolen power tools, and about two dozen stolen vending machines all on WMA's. There is a good chance someday the stealer might be there when I come bopping in. I would sure like an unfair advantage...

Virginia allows ccw during archery, also, and on state land. Now if the benevolent yankee government would realize it can't protect us on its land, and allow ccw, we'd be doing good. Of course, I can't grouse much, my retired LEO permit lets me carry in all 50 states, DC, PR, etc....

You can CHP on National Forest but not in National Parks. People get the two confused. Since you can't hunt on MOST national parkland (at least here in the east), it is a small worry for hunters.

It looks like this bill has a good chance of being passed. I haven't noticed much opposition. Everyone I have written to is voting yes.

Thanks for taking the time to look, guys.

MN DNr woun't let you cary durring deer archery, only durring bear archery. They have put out press releases banning carry in state parks but there is some debate if they can do that or not, they did anyway. I guess untill someone challenges it in court we will never know for sure.

Here in Vermont we can't carry during bow season, which seems odd 'cause I can carry whatever however I want anyplace (aside from fed buildings and schools) anytime. I'd like to see that change.

During bow season in Texas, its stick & string only. Do not have anything under your jacket and do not pass GO.
