Chrony results
Did my 1st chrony testing last month. My T/C Contender with 18" bull 45 ACP got these velocities. Winch factory loads averaged 891fps, My loads, got 1132 avg fps with Horn 200gr SWC and 10.4 of HS7, best was a LEE 255RF with 9.4 of HS7 averaged 1052fps. Puma 357mag loads were, REM 125 Golden sabre with 12.5 of HS7 was 1753fps, REM 147 JHP with 10.4 of HS7 avg 1480 FPS and Saeco 180 RF with 13.5 of 2400 avg 1492 FPS.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres
