I've been waiting for a long time for Ruger to come out with something that would make me want to buy a New Model BH. This has done it. I want one. Now to find a dealer to deal with.

And I got a set of CLC grips all ready for it, how's that?

Sweet ! Only took them 50+ years..... :)

Hey, notice on the Lipsey's specification page it says that the Blackhawks have fixed sights ?

(I guess that would make them Vaqueros, then, wouldn't it ? I guess one can dream... )

They've fixed the page CaptainFinn.

Dropped by and told my dealer (and new boss) to get me one. Gave him the page with name and number written on it. Told him I wanted it 3 years ago!

I called my favorite toy store, they are a Lipsey's dealer. He said come on in and get it ordered.
I just hope Ruger gets it right. With a .429" bore groove & .430"-.431" cylinder chamber throats. So far every 44 I have bought has had to have the throats reamed because they were tight. I own a throating 44 reamer so that will not be a problem.
I will get more information next Month. One of the Ruger Exec's. from the Prescott,Az. Ruger factory shoots CAS/SASS. He will be at the Club annual Match. The last batch of Anniversary BH's were made in the Prescott factory.

Correct me if I'm wrong but these BH all have steel grip frames correct? I like the Blackhawks but hate the aluminum grip frames.
