Prayer Request

Post by Doc Hudson »

I'd greatly appreciate it if y'all would include my oldest friend, Dewey Bass in your prayers.

Dewey and I have been friends for over 30 years and he's in very bad health.

He lost a leg to diabetes a few years ago, and is now in the hospital with a drug resistant strain of Staph. It started with an infection in his stump, and now it is affecting his heart. He had a cardiac arrest last Thursday and spent a couple of days in CCU. Now he is coming down with either a nasty cold or pneumonia. When I talked to him tonight, he said he expected to be in the hospital another five or six weeks. He is currently in Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL, but expects to be transferred to the VA Hospital in the next few days.

I'm afraid my old friend won't be leaving the hospital. I will be making a flying trip back to Alabama to see him within the next few days. I'd never forgive myself if I didn't get back in time to see him. So please include Dewey, and his Dad, Clinton Bass, in your prayers.

Doc, I'll sure do it and keep the prayer up, let us know how it does with him.

Prayer sent. I lost my best friend of 40 years, earlier in the year. Wouldn't want that to happen to you in any way, shape or form.
