Some folks have gone berserk. Paying that much is beyond idiocy. I don't have as much as some, but I have some put back. And I'm with sore shoulder, I would NOT pay that much for a ten dollar brick of .22s.
I'm not gonna sell or trade what I have, but gadzooks what's in the water this frantic nut cases are drinking?

Ammo is a commodity just like rice or flour or cooking oil or bottled water. It's only worth what the people with disposable income are willing to pay for it.
If everyone stops buying ammo today, the prices will plummet at some point and re-balance eventually. The madness is in the government warring against the citizenry, not the current prices, which actually are reflecting the relative worth of the dollars in the wallets of the buyers.
Folks who are selling are thinking their dollars will buy more into the future than the cost of replacement plus dollar devaluation up to that point.
It's the criminal government that is responsible for the frenzy, and human nature for the prices.
It's Normal.

Sore Shoulder. When you sold them, did you ship them or do FTF? If you shipped how much and by who? I am thinking maybe I'll sell my Remington ammo that don't shoot worth a stuff in 6 of my 22's

All sales are face to face cash and I ask to see ID just to verify they are legal age to buy if they look a little young. I have no idea what the legalities would be to ship ammo.

At the Garden City, KS gun show today, Remington bulk pack 525 Golden Sabers selling for $70/ box, Remington 22 Thunderbolt selling for $80 brick. Selling prices not just asking prices.

These were the last two boxes that he had. He had several cases and sold all but these two boxes by 6PM Saturday.
