PERFECT! I personally wouldn't worry about it, Koreans have been making kimchee in those things for over 500 years, if anyone was gonna die from it you would have heard about it by now. Now if it was made especially for the US market by the Chicoms then I would definitely avoid it.

I confess , I sent Pitchy the Kraut Been making it for quite a while using my Grandmothers recipe . Pretty easy to do, 5# shredded cabbage and 3 TBLSP noniodized salt (canning salt) .
