Buck,
My sincerest condolences to you in the loss of your soul mate. A sunset on earth is a sunrise in heaven. We will travel that path ourselves one day to once again be reunited with our loved ones, never more to part.
John 11:25 :26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

Words fail to convey my sorrow for your loss. I am afraid it is vain to hope that they could offer anything more than faint comfort at this time. I do hope your focus will be on the joys you shared and the sense of privilege you must have felt in having her in your life. From past experience I have come to believe that we morn for ourselves more than for those we have lost, because the loss is indeed ours for we cannot truly imagine what they have gained.
My prayers go with you and yours.

So very sorry for your loss Buck. I did not see this until just now. Words fail, but The Lord will not. God Bless you my friend, and hold you firmly in this time.

So sorry for your loss
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolute unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

I share your grief, but not without hope, for as we now only see through a glass dimly, she has passed from this life into eternal life and now is able to look into the face of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Buck, I pray the Lord take your hand and walk you through this time, until you all again are reunited. God Bless you brother.

Re: OT: Kathe -- 4-15-52 / 6-07-2010
Sorry to hear about it, but Kathe won in the end as she is going to Heaven and the devil can only get the leftovers. What made her special was her spirit and that is now with Jesus, and her memory is in your heart. You will see her again, but until that time, The Lord has something more for you to do. Don't give up. If you need anything that I can do for you, just ask. I am keeping you in my prayers.

Re: OT: Kathe -- 4-15-52 / 6-07-2010
way too young to leave, but our God must have need of her in heaven. Perhaps my wonderful grandaughter, Leah, who was taken from us at the tender age of 21 will meet Kathe and show her around. The Word of God promises that there will be no tears in heaven, for God Himself will wipe them from our eyes. Our time here on earth is but a blink of the eye compared to eternity, stay strong and live out the days God has alloted you as she would have wished, not in sorrow, but accepting every day as a gift of God, doing good deeds and loving the weak and needy, and looking forward in anticipation to the great reunion on the other side of the Jordan. Prayers offered up for strength and peace. You are not alone. Olevern

Hello Buck-I cannot get close to expressing my sadness for your loss. I can only know a little bit how I would feel if I lost my darlin and I do not have the words to express the emotions I would(will) feel. Please just accept that I understand some of the wonderful life that a devoted wife and companion brings to us and I am sorry for your lose. God bless you and your wonderful Kathe. I know you will one day unite together again. Got Bless, Respectfully, Jim Lawrence (BestLever)

Re: OT: Kathe -- 4-15-52 / 6-07-2010
Again, my heartfelt thanks to all who have responded, with your sympathy and your prayers, over the past few months. The last while has been a real struggle for both Kat and me. It has tested our faith, taught us love and patience, and has made us both stronger in the end. It also taught us the value of friendship and brotherhood, the power of faith and prayer, and the love that God has for each of His children.
Just for the record, because there seems to be some confusion: Kathe was my fiancee, not quite yet my wife. We kept putting off the marriage, in the hope that she would regain sufficient health, even if just for a few months or so, but alas, that was not to happen. Just the same, the loss is the same, and the hole in my heart and my life is the same. Healing will take time, but -- with God's help -- will happen. That much I know.
So thank you all, men and bretheren... Your prayers helped sustain us, and I want you to know how much we both appreciate that. Those prayers sustain us still.
