A mundane, unadorned, mass-produced sixgun that I consider an artifact of my family history, if my son matures to see it that way, is an early 1990's Ruger GP100, that was my duty sixgun on a summer night in 1993, when I fired a shot that may well have ensured my continued existence on this side of the grass. I can go to a local dealer and buy a "replacement" tomorrow, but I would turn down fifteen thousand dollars for it, at this point in time.

Lessee . . . Long gun? My grandfather's 94 in .30-30. Took a nice doe this year with it. Handgun? My Colt Python. 6" barrel, went back to the factory for a trigger job, many years ago. When it came back . . . What a smooooooth SA pull.
