Here's some pix of a "Baby B3" (actually a 1957 vintage M3 Model) that I rebuilt (made just a "little more portable") to take on tour in the early 80's, along with a classic Leslie 145 rotating speaker system...
Gotta luva Hammond! Deep base from those pedals too! And a classic speaker, for the classic Hammond sound -- thanks to the TUBE amp! Man, those were both very heavy loads -- my back is aching just thinking about carrying those around... Up/down stairs, etc. And I also toured with a Mini-Moog synthesizer, Crumar String Machine and PA system for all the keys and vocals too.
As I used to say to all the girls on tour... (Thanks to the band Boston, for this inspiration from their first album): I'll play "Foreplay" on my organ in a "Rock & Roll Band" for a "Long Time" until I get "More Than A Feeling" of "Something About You" and I'll be "Smokin" and want to "Hitch a Ride" and the only way to get some "Peace of Mind" will be for you to "Let Me Take You Home Tonight"!!!

Would you believe I actually saved money (and my back) by getting into collecting & shooting guns instead?!?! And it was those days and nights in the bands which hurt my hearing more than all the shooting I've ever done...
Back in the day I also played the trumpet, flugel horn, piano, church organ and anything else with keys.
Cool post -- thanks for the memories!
