As Lindsay's mom, I must admit that I was nervous putting a gun in her hands. My fears were soon put to rest when I saw how safety was addressed. I also learned that they hunting community as a whole is a great community to be a part of. I have been so impressed with how everyone has embraced Lindsay and focused on not just her shooting ability, but school as well. For the first time, she has found an extracurricular activity that she just loves. I know she will take the lessons she has been taught and apply that to not just her hunting, but to everyday life. Thank you all for showing her respect and including her in your family. You all rock!

To the anonymous donor...words can not express how grateful I am to you for your very generous gift to Lindsay. She is very excited to go out and use her new rifle. Thank you for helping her to really get excited about hunting. You are a wonderful man and your generosity will never be forgotten. I promise to post pictures when she uses it so you can enjoy her excitement. You are an amazing man and have made my daughter so happy. Thank you!

Sandy,

Have you considered attending a Women on Target event, put on by the NRA? It's all geared towards women, and there are generally some female instructors. Most of the equipment and ammo is provided. They even have hunts with female guides!

One of those would be an awesome bonding opportunity for you and your little girl, before she becomes a teenager, and you just want to choke her to death.

Huntress/Mom:

You should check out Henry's website: www.henryrepeatingarms.com It features some history and new of the good things the company is doing in our communities. Also, look at your catalog that came with the rifle, or call Henry and get one if you don't have one. The family has been in the firearms business since 1911 and is family owned and operated. The gun is made in the USA with a lot of pride. You can take equal pride in owning one!
