Took my dad to see it. It was his first movie in a theater in fifteen years. I loved it, he liked it. He had problems with the girl writing to her mom when, "She could barely read C-A-T." (I just figured someone read the letters to her.)

Like the wise man said above: These are two diffeent movies each with their own character and value. I'll be buying this one when it comes out on DVD. 8)
