Hard to wrap my mind around a volume like that. I doubt I have ever loaded much more than 150 rounds of anything in a day-- maybe shotgun shells.

Re: Wow...10,000 rounds in 24 hrs.....
I once loaded 3000 rounds of 40s&w, took me a few weeks on a DILLON Square Deal.
I've done about 5000 223 over a couple months, maybe more. I then vacuumed packed them in 100 round packs.
Also have a few thousand 308s I've loaded. Took even longer due to having to trim all that military brass. That's when I broke down and got a Little Crow trimmer!
Shotgun ammo, I used to load by the bucket full when I was shooting a lot. A 5gallon bucket holds about 550 rounds. A bucket might have lasted a week!

I generally load a couple of hundred rounds a weekend. But that’s basically to replace what I shoot. When the weather gets cooler I like to load up larger batches of.44 Special and .38 Special as I use these up quite regularly.

Re: Wow...10,000 rounds in 24 hrs.....
I like how he got the family involved... I tried that... unsuccessfully. My wife enjoyed loading her .38 Spls on the Dillon 550B, but didn't like her results. Several squib during her 1st match with her ammo. Totally understandable as she was a complete novice and totally overlooked checking the powder drop. Heck, I was a complete novice on the progressive machine at the time... didn't have a light installed, and I don't remember anyone having anything like a powder check or lockout die at the time. And my son much prefers to buy ammo vs. making his own... although he has all the necessary dies & supplies for whatever cartridge he shoots.
For myself, I will usually load about 500 pistol rounds at a time, or enough to top off one of my GI cans. I seldom do more than a couple hundred rifle rounds as they're loaded on the RockChucker.

Re: Wow...10,000 rounds in 24 hrs.....
With my 750 and casefeeder, I can load 700-800 rds of pistol ammo per hour and 500-550 rds of necked rifle (already case prepped) per hour at a 'sprinting' pace. However, it's a hobby I like to enjoy so why would I just blast out that volume?
It's a relaxing pastime so even though I could go fast and load for a long time, I'd rather slow it down a bit and enjoy the experience. That means for me on straight wall pistol, I like to keep a pace of about 400 rds per hour and usually take a break after 1½ hrs. For necked rifle, I like to go at a pace of 300 rds per hour for 2 hrs.
I pick that because I have 5 primer fill tubes and can load up the primer with 100 and then have 500 more ready to dump in 100 at a time so when I exhaust my primers I take a break. In a day, I might load up as many a 2,000 pistol or 1,500 rifle but any more than that and I start feeling like it's work, not an enjoyable hobby.

I wonder if the family also shot up that 10,000 in 24 hours?
