Lack of light

Just because the sun quits shining for a bit, doesn't mean you can quit working!

I was sitting in my lawn chair watching. I live in the "Path of Totality" and it was a neat experience seeing it get dark enough to see some stars and the street lights come on. Did you notice the drop in temperature? Must have dropped 10-12 degrees.
Contrary to all the warnings we did not experience any nutjobs or animals doing anything crazy.

Not totality here but the birds kept eating and my dogs were in complete indifference to it all.
I found a #11 lens to take a peak, no matter what I tried my phone wouldn't capture a worthwhile image.

Hey, grass grows in the dark too!

So I put the crimp on some 218s and went to site in, test powders and the skies opened up!

.
Frogs and bugs of the night did start up, and chickens headed to coop (way faster than usual). Goat acted confused (in other words was normal).

Kinda cool how SUDDEN the moment of totality came (and went). The less-than-totalitu part is just creepy odd light like some movie or something.
