This is the article that started me on the right path. Then Lucky’s book. I still shoot the BB gun with no sights.

We have BB guns around the house and use them for everything including shooting things tossed into the air. Awhile back I watched my 10 year old grandson sneak up on a Armadillo and shoot it with his BB gun. The 'dillo went straight up in the air, completely startled when he shot it.

After reading that article I copied it for my files and read it again. Then I went and got out my Model 25 Daisy BB gun and spent some time shooting it. Knocking small objects around the yard was fun. Shooting stuff in the air ... throwing it myself .. was harder and I need to work on that.

This morning I removed the rear sight from the Daisy and ran a couple hundred BB's through it. Got to where I was hitting the seed cones off the Magnolia tree at 50 feet or so pretty consistently. I am gonna work on this several days a week and get my aerial shooting form back!

I have Lucky’s book and a number of BB guns.

I like to take a BB gun on hunting trips to plink around the campsite.

I use 2 sights for shot placement, but the LORD gave us a Magnolia in full bloom.

As far as airborne washers is concerned, i can't hit them without or with sights. Perhaps my ancestors were trained on ballistas?
