Man! I gotta wake up…….I remember that Jim…….in those days you had to have a scanner…………..

Yep, still got both guns…….an 1886 Ex.Lwt takedown in 45-90 and a single action Colt New Frontier in 44 Spl.

Oh, the kid!!!! My first granddaughter….she’s 24 now and is doing very well……..

Thank you Jim……that was the first picture of anything me on the internet.——-006

I was 46 and dark hair along with half a brain.

I was looking through some old files and there were some photos from guys on the old Sixgunner site. We all were young. Some are gone now. The rest of us are getting up there in years.

Your grand-daughter is a beautiful lady. Funny how the kids grow up so quick.

I have 4 beautiful grand-daughters and 2 grandsons plus 2 great-grand-daughters and 2 great-grand-sons. Life goes on!

Hey Johnny a.k.a. “Mr Gold Plated Curb Feeler”. Thanks bud but I’m not lucky. Thinking with determination is free but it’s rarely used anymore. By the way, I got my new fuzzy dice yesterday. Last time you were here you “A.Sheened” em up too much and they stuck to the windshield.

Jay,
Your mistaken……..those ladies are not in Cornville……Johnny’s ladies are “sista’s ” from da hood……. Johnny coats his stuff with bronze because the ladies think it’s gold. Those curb feelers he has are nothing compared to the shag carpeting in his ‘72 Pontiac Bonneville with 310745 miles on it and the car is held together with duct tape.

Wadda you mean, “that ain’t right”? Sometimes I think you people in Maine have the rights to being a hillbilly……..no siree…..we Pennsylvanians are dang good at it too………wait, Johnnys from Maine also…oh well, maybe you do have it copyrighted….

I just came back from Costco and bought a case of duct tape…144 rolls……big ones too………fixes everything from carburetor linkage (yea, our vehicles still have carbs)…..to bathroom faucets all the way to making a baby’s crib from cardboard….

Haha yeah great minds think alike! I replenished my duct tape supply this weekend. I used a bunch if my stick taping that broke back window up. :D

Back before these high tech communications, we up here though everyone was like us and talked like us. It's only since all this new info that we learned how backwards we were. :D
That's ok. I also learned we are the lucky ones. :D

Now wait a minute fella! I was born and raised in the hood!
New York, born in Brooklyn actually! Grew up on Long Island.
Now the local Maine ladies like it when I put my gold grill in the mouth!
I have a matching dew rag that the she demon can't hold back their instant arousal!
I take all my fashion styling from Huggy Bear of Starchy & Hutch fame!
That homie got it going on Youell!
Now I need a 3,500 dollar Lynix coat to complete in my arsenal of seduction!

It's true! I'm not even sure what a dooryard is.
Back in N.Y. you had a stoop!
No coffee brandy, mostly just Guinness.
My great aunt had a home built here in 1964.
So, I've been coming up here for many years!
If you're not born here, you'll never be a true Mainer.

All kidding aside…that’s true Johnny……..where you are born is who you are……..long time locals can pick you out like a curb feeler made out of plastic………

Same way upstate Pa….but I fit in there pretty good with the locals as I know the lingo……ya just can’t walk in a store, etc. wearing Danner boots or clean jeans and a fresh hat……..so what I do …or did….when in deer camp is wait about 3 days with the same clothes on, I’ll take my teeth out and when I pay for something I use change and if I’m short on money I’ll tell them, “wait, I knows I gots some change between the seats.”……..don’t dare pull out a stack of Ben’s.

Funny thing, when shopping for camp food ALL of the food is “no brand” and some of the meat still has some hair on it ….the bread isn’t sliced and nobodies cars has more than 5,000 miles left on the tire tread.

But ya know, they are happy people and I feel more comfortable around them than I do anyone around here. What I don’t like about them is they shoot deer all year round.
