New Pouch

Post by Griff »

After seeing and reading of many of your experiences with a Simply Rugged holster, I ordered one to carry my single action. Their website had them for as "in-stock" or over-stock at a discounted price. I ordered it last Thursday, and it arrived today. I would have liked a brown one, but... what they had was black. I'll have to wear my black boots more! :D

Interestingly, it fits my Colts perfectly, but the 3 different clones I have in 4-¾", each protrudes a little more from the holster. Not much, but just enough to notice the rear of the trigger guard doesn't quite sit flush with the top of the holster as it does with the Colt.

Looks great Griff! Those are great holsters. I looked at them hard when I got my 4.75 " Colt.

Most of my holsters, even those from true custom makers are tight when new. I’d bet that, with use, your clones will settle nicely and no longer be proud.

I other mine with only two slots because I am never going to wear my pistol in a cross draw position but there isn’t a more comfortable way to carry a single action revolver.
