Caliber conversion

I really want a lever gun in 41 mag, I know in can get a new Henry but I’m not all that crazy about the heft. I’d like it to be on a 1892 or 1894 platform. To have one converted, would I need to have a 357 rebarreled or a 44/45 lined? I don’t have either available to see if a 41 would ride in the 357’s magazine tube. Also could 94 Winchester or marlin 336 be converted to handle revolver cartridges?

I have a Henry 41, it's a bit on the heavy side but it's accurate.
Someone here had posted a link to a company doing take downs and THAT would be awesome!
I went back 6 pages but didn't find the post ( can't remember the title)
Anyhow, you might talk to those folks for ideas.
Just knowing the rim diameter is larger than 357 you'll probably need a 44/45 mag tube frame just to make life easier.

Its gonna be pretty pricey to have one built. Might be cheaper to buy a henry in 41 and then get someone to mill the octagon barrel down to a round profile ti reduce the weight.

Don't give up hope, Marlin chambered the 1894 in 41 Rem Mag with Micro-Groove rifling in both stainless (1894S) and blued (1894FG) as well as 6 groove Ballard rifling (1894CCL). Not every S or CCL was a 41 Mag, as both of those were chambered for other cartridges. They are out there.

My Henry is a round barrel.
When I started looking for it none of the local shops had one,or find one . Finally the salesman at one shop told me to call Henry. I did and within 2 weeks the gun was at the shop.
I had terrible fouling from plated bullets at GO-FAST loadings.
