Thinking of our friend Pitchy

Post by Bill in Oregon »

We are on the cusp of the holiday season, and it goes hard with me that there is an empty chair for Lenn at our table here. Lenn, I hope you and Norma are warm, snug and well-fed -- and that you are dreaming of projects to take your mind off your pain. I wish you both a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Nice thoughts for big Lenn from here too.

Does he have snow yet?
I love seeing his place in the snow.
Must be difficult though.
Best wishes Lenn.

If more men loved and cherished their wives as much as I love bacon the world would be a much better place.

You guys are forgetting what time of year it is, our beloved Pitchy is busy going over the naughty and nice list and making toys! :D

Seriously though I hope Lenn and Norma are well and the snow has not invaded yet.

I could not count how many times Pitchy made My Life better by posting stuff He made or was doing. Many, Many times I would call My Wife in the computer room to let Her see what Lenn was up to. I miss Him. maybe He will come around and sit by the fire again. :D .

I exchanged emails with Lenn yesterday. He has been having health issues and is discouraged about not being able to do the things he used to do. Those are the things we have all enjoyed and envied the ability to think them up then build them. He hasn't been looking at the forum for a while. I passed on the well-wishes from the forum and I too, hope he returns to it. Rgates

Thanks, Rgates. I know letting go has been awful hard on Lenn. Broke my heart when he put the sign on the sawmill, but understand. Lenn, if you are out there, we really are thinking of you, praying for you. Hope this Thanksgiving is a good day at your house.

Thanks for the update, and for checking on him.
