We've talked about how we MUST integrate the young folks into our shooting and 'gun culture', even if it is sometimes not easy.

This kid makes a broader point not just about 'gun rights' but about the entire philosophy and politics of the young people.

So we really DO need to step up to the plate, so THEY can step up to the plate when we're no longer in the game...

I just love how this kid's school experience illustrates the "tolerance" and "inclusivity" of the "progressives" on the left, who have taken over what used to be the somewhat reasonable Democrat Party. Then the irony of a Democrat calling Conservatives "fascists" is just hilarious, but they have zero self-awareness, so the left actually thinks they are somehow on the moral high ground.

Doc, as long as there are inner cities and Muslims in this country there will always be a need for guns. I got into a conversation with a yuppie couple at the post office yesterday and the talk went straight to the Gaza/Israeli thing. I explained if the Israeli government didn’t have so many restrictions on private gun ownership that Israel’s loss on private citizens would be 1/4 of what it was…..or it may never have happened. They looked at each other with open mouths.

Yep - I always thought a 'safe room' either meant one that was tornado-proof (if you couldn't afford to build your whole house out of one of the styrofoam/poured concrete styles like the ''Reward Wall System" that IS pretty tornado-proof), or a room that you turned into a 'gun safe' by building it out of poured concrete and putting a gun-safe style door on it. Never managed to do either but would do both if I were building a house now. Wouldn't be that costly if done from the start.

But yeah - hiding from the likes of Hamas isn't going to do much; they have guns and bombs and no morality, and it isn't like the local cops can come rescue you in 10 minutes. You'd better get the fight over with right away, win or lose. Whoever decided to disarm the Israeli citizens the past couple decades should be completely ASHAMED. Hamas was the murderer but their government was essentially an accomplice.

Seems like governments do that a lot...

Anyway, to the original post point - it is refreshing to see that SOME of the younger generation 'gets it'. We need to help them, and help their stupid peers see the light.

The schools in gaza teach kids that the Jews are scum and have to be wiped off the face of the earth. I think we underestimate the effect that has on boys when they reach puberty.

It is exactly the same thing in America. The education 'system' systematically stripped God from the kid's souls and replaced with drugs and sex. So when the time comes to make noise they are completely filled up to overflowing with hatred for everyone. It has nothing to do with socialism, it is intended to make little kids stay little with blown-up minds. The American oligarchs are WAY PAST SOCIALISM. And they have persuaded you that they are 'progressives'. I suppose that, in the sense that they want to kill you, that would be considered progress in their twisted-demon-warped brains.

Well, I believe Henry David Thoreau said it best, “ The path of least resistance leads to crooked rivers and crooked men”

Socialism is the easy path and that’s why it’s so attractive to young people who have yet to get entrenched in the operations of the real world….and fear it….wasn’t like our generation where you knew you were out of the house at 18…..at least it was in my case and everyone I knew.

So if the school is teaching them this s.and their parents being generation x ers, doing nothing is that easy path that makes sense to them.….then they want they best things in life and expect their parents to give it to them while they belong to a high dollar gym and get their clothes at Anthropology.

They are punks…about 80% of them. Once these x ers and y ers burn through their inheritances, we are gonna see Socialism get into high gear and full rpm’s.

Born in that month between the end of Boomers and Xers. Some of the Xers are not bad folks. Gen Y, Millenials, and whatever the kids just hitting 21 are in for a rough life. Too many of them have been babied for too long. Their education was abysmal.

I know a family raising their children in the "fear and admonition of the LORD". The three siblings were baptized at their church, following Christ's example. They attend a private school a couple days per week, and homeschool the rest in their own classroom at home. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF CHILDREN with this same ongoing counter culture upbringing that will raise their own children in the fear and admonition of the LORD.

Gen Z needs exactly what every generation needs, Jesus Christ living in their hearts and souls for real. Jesus is the Answer.

i'm with Grizz on this. We are way past socialism or left vs right. In fact we only started using the terms left and right again the last few years. The media dusted them off from where we left them in the 70's and put them in the average mans mouth again and now he runs about saying it like he never stopped. At some stage when a system is so warped you have to consider whether its all a work. 30+ 1st world countries all in lockstep rolling out the same policies of disarmament, break up of family unit, deregulation, offshore manufacture, godlessness, minority worship, regardless whether a conservative or liberal is in power...cmon fellas
