Having trouble posting pics?

Is anyone having trouble posting pictures?
I haven't changed any of my settings, the most recent I tried to post is 11.4MB.
The attachment link says no larger than 500MiB- what's an MiB?

11.4 MB is to big of file here , largest file I've ever loaded here was 1.6 MB
You need to reduce size to try to be in the KB range.
Easy on a smart phone to take pictures then edit to reduce file size.

No idea what MiB is ?

I got the pic to post but first I " cleaned " it up but not resizing it. Why that worked is beyond me...
I also changed my phone camera resolution so hopefully that will solve the issue.

Not sure why they label it "MiB", but it's the same as "MB" which stands for megabytes. 500 megabytes is half a gigabyte - which should allow any reasonably sized image to be uploaded. Not sure what was going on with your image. I just checked several sample images on my PC and none of them are anywhere near 500 MB.

Being im not completely computer illiterate I figured the MiB was a typo.
I haven't had issues in the past. Only thing I can figure is I changed the resolution of my camera inadvertently. The same pics that I was trying and getting an HTTP ERROR I then 'remastered ' and they posted perfectly.

It may be some international type "English" as their kilobyte abbreviation (why is abbreviation such a long word?) is "KiB".

I just use Imgur and can only post pics when I’m on my laptop
