Ya know Griff……I agree…..I had a pick up truck load of those ‘51’s, 60’s, 62’s, Dragoons, 49’s, and the rest of those models staring me in the face and I lets em slide……..even had serial number 50,000 of as ‘62 that I did buy and sold it to a buddy for a $50 profit….and he complained that he couldn’t get it apart as the gun sat for a decade and I believe I made a $20 profit on it….…..all second gens……and people wonder where my hate comes from….
Believe I had maybe 30-40 of em which I sold at CASS shoots for enough profit for entry fees.
The only notable ones were a consecutive number of ‘51’s in 44 caliber (which were never made in 44....prototypes.) which I sold to RJohns here on the board or whatever his name was.
Seriously, I could have had several hundred of all models at below wholesale, but ya know, some times we don’t care….or don’t think…

Umm, the trigger is technically a lever as is the hammer.
So yes they do have levers
Never spent any time with cap & ball but obviously they still work.
Yeah what GK Said too!

As much as I love a square-back Dragoon-style trigger guard from the way they look, I am finding more and more that they can be uncomfortable to actually shoot.
But I'm willing to live with that!
