Internet Anxiety!

Post by Griff »

Once again, I've fallen victim to the desire for a new gun! Well, new to me! Unfortunately, it was located in far away Oregon. Another 2nd Gen Colt 1851 caught my eye. I might've paid a bit more than I intended... at first, but the bidding war grabbed me and made me stupid! This is a 1st year production for the re-issue of Colt Belt Model of 1851. And while I've often wondered what it felt like to keep a "collector" piece, my happiness is in using them. It has entered the world of shipping... and progress is frustratingly SLOW!

I can breathe easier, it arrived unharmed on the day quoted...

In original box & paperwork

Looks perfect, like new in box. Only missing the outer sleeve covering the box. With 7 1851s I can feel that I probably can only use one or two more!
