Debating on picking his little beauty up

This has come up for sale recently and I m sorely tempted to buy it, 50 cal 32 inch barrel.Though I m right handed I m left eye dominate so the left hand lock would be perfect for me

Bore is supposed to be very good.That’s my only hesitation as I can t see the bore for myself until they ship it to me.From the outside it looks well cared for as far as that goes

John Clark of Ontario Canada.He produced his own locks which were basically a Durrs Egg lock and they are so identical that an L&R Durrs Egg lock will just about drop right in .He also produced fine custom guns,he is now deceased

That's a really nice rifle !!, I've wanted to build a kit build flintlock maybe from Track of the Wolf . Maybe someday..

I don't know much about flinters, but it looks like an extremely nice rifle!

That doesnt appear to be a mass produced Hawken which likely makes it a semi custom or custom rifle. IMO, You wont find another one that nice at that price provided it is accurate.
