Surgery was a success

Post by TedH »

Thanks, everyone, for your prayers. My shoulder reconstruction went well. Surgeon said it was worse than he thought once he got in there, but he was happy with the results. A week after the surgery the pain and stiffness are becoming less, and I'm easing off the pain meds. There's a long road still ahead, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Glad it went well Ted!
A buddy of mine had one of his done, on a Friday, the surgeon left on vacation that night, he never wrote orders for pain meds! By Sunday my buddy was back at the hospital ER for relief after 36 hours of agony. Then to top it all off the surgeon screwed up the surgery and my buddy went to a different surgeon for revision surgery. Few years later he had his other shoulder done.

Good to hear! Take the rehab people seriously, they know what they're doing.

Ted, that’s the best possible news. Has to be a load off your mind ahead of the holiday.
