You have to wonder what percentage of animals like that, especially in remote areas, may be 'unnaturally' large.

A FEW YEARS AGO, A COUPLE OF SEALS WENT HUNTING OFF KODIAK ISLAND AND GOT A ROGE BEAR ESTIMATED AT 11.5'
THIS VIDEO IS A BOUT A HUNT THE WEEK BEFORE AND THEIR ENCOUNTER WITH THE SAME BEAR.

The taxidermist I use killed an absolute monster on Kamchatka. The mount is incredible

Any time I get to feeling overheated, I think of the encounter I had in a willow thicket in Denali National Park -- and I get a cold chill...
