Sad news about our comrade M.M. Wright

Post by Bill in Oregon »

I just got this PM from Ron's widow, Hope, and am sharing it here:

Bill:
Thank you for praying for Ron. This is Hope, his wife. Sadly, Ron passed away on the morning of Friday, February 11, 2022 following a two-week battle with Covid/Pneumonia. He was tired and ready for Jesus to welcome him to his heavenly reward. Please pass along the information to all of his friends on the Levergun Forum. He truly enjoyed receiving and sharing information with so many others who had common interest.

Again, thank you for praying.

Thanks Bill. He will be missed. I tried to call him last week about 4 or 5 times with no answer and figured something like this had happened.

Sad to hear. I recently bought some bullets he posted here. He was a pleasure to do business with. I lost my daddy Feb 5. Seems like a lot of people going lately.

Just now I received a call from Hope and had a prayer with her. She has family with her, which is good. A hard time ... she appreciates the prayers.

WOW! We really have no idea how long we have here. He made a mark and will be missed. May Hope and the rest of his family find hope in their faith.
We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For we say this to you by a word from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words. ~ I Thessalonians 4:13-18
Rest in peace, dear brother. We'll be along directly.
Paul - in Pereira

Here is Ron's obituary. It seems he had a good life, with many blessings. When you get to flesh out the picture of someone you have only known on line, you learn some wonderful details. "He had a beautiful tenor voice." Too bad we don't learn this stuff while our friends are still alive.
