Why dont NAA Arms

Post by 3leggedturtle »

Design a mini revolver designed around the the 32 S&W and/or Long? Hiw cool that would be. Kel-Tec or Ruger do more more small autos in 32 Auto.
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

My guess is because most ammo for .32 S&W is low powered so it is safe in a lot of the older and weaker revolvers. So you'd have a gun with anemic ammo, and doubt most would want that who don't reload.

I recall that a number of posters on the NAA Mini Guns forum (not the exact name) asked similar questions...

The low-power of the .32 long ammo was one issue -- but the higher chamber pressure of the 32 H&R Magnum was another. By the time you scaled-up a NAA Mini to handle the 32 Mag with 5 shots capacity -- you were bumping up against the size & weight of a SIG P365 or similar ilk.

But to me... A stainless 32 Mag Mini Schofield would be a hoot!

That is the coolest idea I have heard this year.

Now if H&R had made the 925 or 926 in 32S&W Long, I'd buy every one I saw but their swing out revolvers are just too ugly.

They may be a little fugly, but this little bugger is a decent shooter. A friend of my gave it to me, said it didn't work.
It was a little pitted, paint splashes and spots all over it and was so full of dust it wouldn't function. Cleaned it all up and it works just fine.
Found the holster in a box I have that I've accumulated from shows and auctions. I'll carry it around the yard sometimes, usually with .32 shorts. Doesn't get the neighbors all excited.

Jason, gad one of those 32's fir about 3 days til an older fella saw it. He wanted it so bad that I let him buy it.

Edt: I take that revolver over a Heritage anyday everytime!

A top break stainless in a mild . 32 cartridge sounds like a lot of fun. In . 32 S&W it could be mild enough for a light weight revolver that could still last a long time. Hmmmm...

I've never owned a top break revolver, but I think they look cool and I have enjoyed shooting the heck out of an old H&R .22 that was a break open gun.

NAA sells everything they make. Kinda hard to make an investment in a new gun design when you are doing well with what you have.
