What a friend!!!
Haven't posted anything in awhile. Between working a lot especially on the weekends just to keep up and just purchased a nice chunk of land to build my shop, I don't have time anymore like I used to. Just the other day a good friend who I haven't seen since the holidays stopped by and dropped off a very nice gift. A 1968 Savage 99C in 308 Win. At first I thought it needed a repair or something but he said his dad decided to purge his collection and knew that I liked Savage 99's and thought I can use it but the catch is he cannot find the clip. I asked how much for the Savage and he said "If you can find a clip, it' yours to keep". What a friend to have!

Wow, that's a real nice gift....
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

Nice!
I had one if those once upon a time. It was shortened to 18" and wore a peep sight. It was a great shooter.
I don't know why that got away.........

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

That's pretty cheap compared to GB or Ebay that I've seen. Average is $90!hfcable wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 5:34 pm here is the magazine for 43.75

Re: What a friend!!!
I have one just like that. I bought it to get it bored to a 358 Win. But my brother needed a gun for deer hunting and I threw a scope on it, sighted it in. It shoots so good that I couldn't bring myself to have it converted.
