TURN OFF the annoying "music", and just enjoy the show.
Wyoming doesn't need a distracting sound track...

I was so taken by the photographs I didn't even notice the music, played it again this morning and yes the music is annoying...Buck Elliott wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 10:57 pm TURN OFF the annoying "music", and just enjoy the show.

I lived in Wyoming for 16 years, most of it in Big Piney. Always enjoyed this guy’s photography

Re: Some reasons we live in Wyoming
I came to Wyoming some 40 years ago, from Northern Utah. I've had a variety of "careers" in that time, including guide, outfitter, machinist, leathersmith, and a 7-year stint with the USFS. We had operating permits for Teton Park, Yellowstone Park, Bridger-Teton N.F., and pretty much wherever else we wanted to go. I've covered thousands of miles of it, on foot or horseback, either with dudes in tow, or just a friend or two.
The camera can only begin to capture a glimpse of the grandeur of the landscape, or to record the denizens of the mountains, forestts, prairies and deserts that make up this least-populated state.
Wyoming can be as harsh and unforgiving as it is beautiful.
I've fed cattle for neighbors, and elk for Wyoming Game & Fish, at 55° below 0, when harness leather is as stiff as iron, and you hope it doesn't shatter like pond ice..
Winds can blow at hurricane velocities, toppling huge trees and moving giant boulders.
It's not a place for the timid or those of weak character, and it provides is own theme skng, such as this morning's whistling zephyrs, or the cheery song of a meadowlark on a summer morning.....
