Found some nice grips for my 625 Model of 1989

Post by 2ndovc »

the grips that were on it just didn't fit my hand well. I recently came across these Altamont for a good price even though they are for a square butt N frame, they fit me very well. Don't think the open backstrap with the frame leaving a gap near the bottom will be an issue. It's not a hard recoiling revolver.

I don't know who made the originals but they aren't original to the gun.

And the Altamonts.

Looking forward to getting out to the range.

 :o Those are going to make your frame rust like crazy! Send them to me, I don' t mind rusty frames. :P
(I really like my 625....shoots the 230fmj without the clips, and extraction is easy/peasy. When I getaroundtoit, I've got some AR brass I want to load with some 255gr hardcast)

I'll have it out right away!! :D

I shoot mostly Auto Rim in my '17s and the 625 I had before this one. I cannot, for the life of me remember why I sold the last one. Total fit of lunacy! That one would chew the centers out of the target at 25 yds. The grips came today w/ 250 rounds of once fired AR as well. Shouldn't need anymore with what I already had for a looong time..
