They really don't have a lot of nutritional value. It is a good thing that they often are found in packs of a dozen. They can be dangerous. I often find Cops nearby to protect us from those dangerous Krispy Kremes.

You have to track them to their lair by reading the sign -- "HOT NOW!"

Look for a hollow tree with elves. They'll be baking, either that, or cookies.

Krispie Kremes are best consumed first thing in the morning just as they come off the production line, still warm and drippy.

If you get 'em in the store where someone delivered them, they're just a faint shadow of their glorious self.

Like this tree? The elves are not living as long as they used to live.

This is the mark of a good man.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

I have two "Achilles heels", any kind of fudge (much better than the finest chocolate) and a fresh donut with glaze and sprinkles or maple glaze. Or Old Fashioned. Or a "Bearclaw" or....OK, more vulnerabilities than I realized! -Tutt

Best maple glaze in the world in my opinion is one that a lady in Texas makes. Look up The Crazy Macaron Lady in Mineral Wells, TX. Her recipe is named for the restaurant owner in Kansas who invented it. If you like maple, you will love her cookies.

Pillar, you have no way of knowing this, but I was born in Lawrence, Kansas circa 1966. I'm one half Ukrainian peasant girl, and one half American farm boy from Kansas who became decorated Navy man. Dad flew A4's off of aircraft carriers. I grew up playing with a broken portion of a "tail hook" used for Navy aircraft landings on aircraft carriers. Your post a very good referral and thank you my friend. Wish I could buy you a cup of Turkish coffee and the donut of your choice. -Tutt
