Cleaning Everything

Post by M. M. Wright »

Opened the safe a couple days ago and started pulling everything out for a thorough cleaning. Got all the long guns the first day and had all the SAAs out yesterday:

You may be tired, but I'd be some happy. That is some mighty fine stuff right there!

You work too much. You could've sent me half of those SAAs and I would have cheerfully cleaned 'em for you!
Have you hugged your rifle today?

Nice start you got there, Mr. Wright. :D

Hope you are not using those files to clean your sixshooters.

No worries, That old Bisley had a stuck base pin bushing that had to be driven out which required some deburring after getting it out. Too I used the big mill file to remove a little wood from the grips for the 7 1/2 inch 45.

Dang MM...that is super! Most appear to be Colts........

I can see you and I share the same soul stirring of a real deal single action Colt. Nothing else comes close and anything else is "feel good imagination."

By the way, for your OWN GOOD ....never invite that guy from Maine over to the house unless he leaves the buffalo coat outside. :D In fact, don't invite me over either as I'd legally try to steal them...you know, "hey MM how about a grand for that real nice 44-40"...---6

Btw...I don't like those files that are close to the Colts......it's like keeping a lit flame next to a gas can.
